About the U.S. Selfies

The U.S. Selfies were launched in the U.S. in 2020 with the mission to discover new talent and reward the best self-published titles each year. The inaugural winner was Tim Westover, author of The Winter Sisters. In 2021, the U.S. Selfies expanded the categories to include not only adult fiction but also children’s books. The U.S. Selfies are managed by Publishers Weekly, BookLife and BookBrunch, which founded the original Selfies awards in 2018 in the U.K.
