Book Review and Awards
Great illustrations & cute story about making good choices./ My kids and I love this book. It is colorful and has a good story. There are 39 pages and the print is clear and easy to read! This is the 1st book in a series of 7. My kids are learning to do the right thing and make good choices! We will read the whole series. Love it!-Natalie Riedel/ I’m already seeing positive changes in my kids./ As both a teacher and a mother, I appreciated that this character education book led to positive changes in my kids. It is written in such a way that it both captures their imagination and gets them engaged in conversations about making good choices. The vibrant real world backdrops, set in New York, were a big bonus as well. I enjoyed reading it because the rhyming & writing style gave it a flow that I don't find in many books.-Kate Lumsden/ My kids read it over and over!/ I was impressed that my kids enjoyed reading this book over and over. It has many levels and both my son and daughter enjoyed it. My son loved the adventure and entertaining illustrations while my daughter thought the characters antics were hilarious. I loved the overall message and specific tools given to help readers make good choices themselves. I also appreciated the guiding questions at the back of the book. We need more books of this caliber that enable meaningful conversations without boring our kids. -Emil Newhouse
